Colton and his BFF Ollie

January has been packed...thank goodness the month is over! Colton turned 18 months old this month...officially 1 1/2 years old! We think the terrible 2's are hitting a bit early...he's been throwing quite the tantrums. We're becoming very familiar with Time Out lately. He gets very upset if we tell him "no"...he is definitely trying our patience.

When Colton went for his well visit he was 32.25 inches long and weighed 23.25 lbs. He's tall and skinny ;) He is running all over the place and is getting into absolutely everything! His new favorite game is to try to get all the baking sheets out of the cabinet and make as much noise as humanly possible. He also likes to brush his teeth...a million times a day! He's not happy unless it has toothpaste on the brush and everything.

When he's not pitching a little fit, he is very delightful and loving. He loves to give kisses and hugs to everyone! This includes the cute little girls at daycare...yes, my son is already kissing girls! He loves to crawl into our laps and read a book.

He's learning lots of new words! He knows a lot of animal sounds too (elephant, monkey, chicken, owl, cat, dog, pig, cow and bird). I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of stuff he's learned, but forgive me!
