Thanks Santa for my new ride!
Opening presents is so exhausting, I needed a nap in the middle of them

Opening Colton's stocking...it's bigger than he is!
What a holiday! Santa was soooo good to us! We traveled a lot and think Mommy and Daddy need another week off before heading back to work. The plan for next year...a whole lot less traveling. We had planned to drive to PA before Christmas, but the lovely snow storm changed our plans. We had to cancel that trip, which broke our hearts. We sadly sent our gifts up north to be opened without us. :( Surprisingly, it wasn't that expensive to send all the gifts and they got there PDQ (pretty darn quick). Looking back, it probably was a blessing in disguise because Colton and Mommy were both on antibiotics and trying to kick some nasty colds. We spent the first part of our holiday at home, trying to finish up shopping and cooking. Jeremy was the luck winner of a trip under the house to snaking out the drain on Christmas Eve Eve...he's turning into quite the Mr. Fix It! I'm so lucky! We had to cancel our trip to the Zoo to see the Christmas lights, but there's always next year.
We headed up to Charlotte on Christmas Eve to enjoy time with my family at Michelle's house. Thankfully, their house is much bigger than ours and can accommodate all the clan. Colton was (as always) a good car rider. Michelle was outside anxiously awaiting Colton's arrival. She could hardly wait to put her hands on the little guy! It's been a while since she's seen him. My mom arrived later that day to join the festivities. Per our tradition, we had Ham and Mac-N-Cheese for Christmas Eve dinner and then we headed to Michelle and Bryan's church for Christmas Eve service. Colton slept through the whole thing!
Christmas morning arrived around 7am and we were super excited to see that Santa came! Colton had the biggest stocking and it was overflowing. Santa had brought him some great toys! After we opened all of our gifts and had lunch, we headed to Aunt Phyllis's house to visit with Aunt Phyllis, Kim and Gary. It was nice to see them on the actual holiday, as I think this was the first time we ever did that.
The Duffy's headed home the day after Christmas to unpack and regroup. Then Monday...Lisa and Colton went to spend some quality time with Gramma in Florence. This is where Colton's sleep went crazy. He woke me up 3 or 4 times at night, for no reason. I finally decided to try to feed him around 1am, and he went back to sleep. It seems like as soon as we think we know his schedule, he changes it quickly. Lisa and Colton came back to Columbia on Wednesday, and then we all headed to Greenville Thursday to bring in the New Year with Kim and Brian Pauls. We came back New Years day and were exhausted! We went to bed around 8pm for the past two nights.
Colton has been drooling a lot worse than usual...he's got to be cutting those teeth soon! He's going through about 10-12 bibs a day and at least 2 outfits! Not to gross anyone out or anything, but Colton's been blowing out diapers for over a week now! We have to change not only diapers, but outfits and sheets too! No diaper can contain this kid! We were using Pampers, but have now moved to Huggies...nothing seems to help though. He's happy as a clam, doesn't seem to know he's completely grossing us out!
He's all smiles all day!
